Animal Care

Here is a list of products we use to protect and raise our animals.

Electric Fencing

We use electric fencing to keep our goats and guardians dogs within our farm boundaries, as well as predators out. This Solar Charging station is good for up to ten miles of charged line.

Chicken Run

To keep our smaller chicken breeds safe, we use a metal chicken run or coop that has a solar cover included. It is light enough to be moveable, creating more grazing opportunities for our little fluffy friends.

Rabbit Hutch

Our rabbits live in a small colony in this converted metal chicken run that has been outfitted with a recycled billboard tarp to keep it dry for our rabbits.

Transport Cages

Whenever we travel to an event or birthday party, we use assorted sized animal crates to keep our critter safe. Our chickens and rabbits use a small, double-door crate each and an XL crate for our goats.

Bird Netting

To protect our vegetable garden from our own flock of free-range chickens, we use deer fencing around our natural barrier fence.

Hoof Trimming

We use hoof trimming shears to keep our goats hooves healthy and trim.

Home Goods

Instant Pot

We LOVE our Instant Pot and use it regularly. It's easy to just throw a few ingredients in and have dinner ready in less than half the time a traditional slow cooker needs.

Nutribullet

Our Nutribullet has many uses around the kitchen besides smoothies. We create our herbal salts, puree dog food when needed, and of course a daily breakfast smoothie using our home grown greens.

Towel Warmer

The humidity in Florida can make drying towels on a hook nearly impossible. We utilize a towel warming rack to keep our bath towels warm, fluffy and dry in between uses.
