Sheehan Homestead

Sheehan Homestead is an educationally-focused, small acre farm located in Callahan, FL. designed to offer healing and growth through sustainable practices and the joy of connecting with nature. It serves as the parent company for two additional endeavors, STEM on Call and Exec MBA on Call, broadening its impact within the community.

To provide unique experiences and learning opportunities while spreading joy in the community.

Ann-Marie Sheehan

Ann-Marie holds a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in STEM leadership. With over a decade of experience as a public school educator in New Jersey, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching and enriching students’ lives through innovative educational approaches.

Michael Sheehan

Michael is an Executive MBA graduate with nearly two decades of experience in corporate marketing, sales, and management. His extensive background includes developing go-to-market strategies and leading teams to drive business growth and operational excellence in competitive markets.

Is There a Restroom on Site?

Currently we utilize a Port-O-Potty and hand sanitizing stations on site.

Is There On-Site Parking?

We offer limited parking on site, please carpool if possible when visiting our homestead.

Who & How Do You Serve?

We engage with the greater community through a variety of activities, events, tutoring, and homeschooling support. Our services are particularly popular with families, including young students and their parents—mothers especially. We also collaborate with traditional and alternative schools, non-profits, camps, daycares, and after-school programs.

Do You Have Preferred Rates?

We offer promotional rates for various groups, including homeschoolers, non-profits, neighbors, military families, neurodivergent individuals, recurring services, large groups, and more. If you think you might qualify for a special rate not listed here, please ask us!

Do You Offer Custom Services?

If you have specific needs or creative ideas, don't hesitate to reach out. We are more than happy to discuss custom requests to make your experience unique.

We are committed to serving our community whenever possible. For information on past volunteer efforts and future opportunities, please contact us directly.

Are You an Animal Sanctuary?

While we are not a designated animal sanctuary, many of our animals are rescues. We provide them with a safe, loving environment.

How Do You Support Sustainability?

At our homestead, sustainability is a core part of our mission. We actively engage in composting to enrich our soil naturally and focus on upcycling and recycling materials whenever possible. To help prevent usable materials from ending up in landfills, we gladly accept donations of pallets, pavers, and other reusable items. If you have materials you believe could be repurposed at our farm, please contact us to arrange a drop-off or pick-up. Together, we can make a significant impact on reducing waste and promoting environmental responsibility.

Are You a Non-Profit?

Although we focus on educational and community services, we are not currently a non-profit organization. Plans are underway to establish a non-profit arm to further enrich our community’s educational resources.

What Animals Do You Currently Have?

Our homestead is home to bunnies, Nigerian Dwarf goats, various breeds of chickens (including Serama and Silkie), quail, ducks, Royal Palm turkeys, and Great Pyrenees dogs who ensure everyone's safety.

What Animals Are You Planning to Add?

We plan to increase the numbers of our current animals and are considering adding geese, guinea fowl, sheep, mini-donkeys, mini-cows, emus, and llamas.

Do You Have Any Exotic Animals?

We do not have exotic animals and have no immediate plans to add them to our homestead.

Do You Sell Farm Products or Produce?

Yes, we offer a variety of homegrown produce and homemade products, including pasta and herb salts, all compliant with cottage food laws.
